Hi Sandy, it will be along Saliz Creek, which is just slightly outside of the village of Reserve, which is between Silver City and Socorro, essentially. Very near the arizona border. I'm not quite sure how to answer the second question as there's hundreds of different species in this area but the elevation is at about 6500 and is Ponderosa Pine forest and riparian forest with lots of Manzanita, Oregano de la Sierra (Monarda fistulosa var menthaefolia), Alder, Cottonwood, Nettles, Yarrow, Narrow leaf Plantain, Usnea, Goldenrod and so on. Typical Western middle mountain semi-arid woodland flora really ;)

Can you tell me where the Gila Walk will be? I'm from Colorado and might be in Dolores Co. at that time and could come if it isn't to far. And what are the plants in that area?
Thanks, Sandy
