Thank You so much for your posts. They were the bright spot in my day. Still working to protect my Pacific Northwest ecosystem from 500KV power lines. I have connected with my Dear friend Dr. Jill Stansbury here who will be doing herb walks at my place this Spring, and am hoping to hear from Camilla Blossom. Can you suggest anyone else here in Yacolt, Washington I can contact?
The Herb Conference sounds wonderful.

The herbalist I’m most familiar with in PA and can recommend most heartily is Susan Hess of Farm at Coventry, although I’m not sure how close she is to you. And if you’re near NJ, there’s also Robin Rose Bennett, of course.

Wonderful post, Kiva. This is what I love. Learning the local plants and their uses. Our lives becoming richer as we connect with our landscape and our essence infuse with the energies around us.

If I lived in the southwest I would want to apprentice with you, Kiva. I love your style of relying on the local plants and connecting the people of the community with their nourishing gifts. Can you recommend anyone in my area that has a similar approach using eastern plants? I live in sountheastern pennsylvania.

Thank you so much for sharing so much with us. I can’t wait for your book to come out.
