Ohh... Kiva, that is so sweet, it's so nourishing for me to hear someone calling me 'infinitely wild' from time to time :)
I always enjoy reading your posts here - it seems like such a magical place where you live! And I'm sure as close and connected as you are by the land, so thrilled the land must be by being thread by people like you.
The time has come here when the birds wake me up in the morning with their special song, the one that wakes up nettle roots and makes space in the air for a few warmer days. Strange how some things just come back every year and still surprise us, touch us deeply, inspire us...
Thank you for creating this wonderful space here and sharing your stories with us!

Kiva, I first came across your blog from a link in my EastWest Herb Course forums, on the use of wild rose. That entry enthralled me and I availed myself of the rosa rugosa growing in my yard. It made me remember that infusing "Peace" roses in pitchers of water was something I did one summer, many many years ago. How could I have ever forgotten!! All summer I was drunk with rosewater. Thank you so much!

I too am enjoying drifting through your website; here's to many more sessions!

I just found your blog and was delighted! I am homesick for New Mexico, it is where my soul wants to be. Not the modern, recently invaded New Mexico...the back trails and sacred areas that haven't changed in eons.
I am enjoyed drifting through your website.
