Yea!

This is something I've been writing about for some time, though the (several) drafts are still unfinished.

A "quickie" understanding to go on while you deepen your relationship with these concepts is that diffusives have a more immediate but often (though not always) transient action of the system, and seen to work via a action on the nervous system or by vital response, while permanents acts more "physiologically", taken up and facilitated by the metabolism.

Burdock is a great example here, and can serve as a model of the concepts. Burdock root is decidedly permanent. Burdock seeds are decidedly diffusive. The usage of both overlap, in regards to what they do (though the seeds are more diuretic than the root), with the main difference being how they do it. Setting aside some time to work woth the seeds for awhile, and then with the root can help change the diffusive/permanent idea from a concept to an understanding.
